1980's vintage silk damask goldenrod yellow evening gown by Canadian Fashion Designer Arnold Scaasi. The fabric has a subtle camouflage-type print to it. The style of the gown pays tribute to the late 1930s & early 1940s with it's asymmetrical bias cut waistline, side ruching and bow and draping at the hip. Dramatic over-sized shoulders supported by stiff mesh padding. Heavily draped neckline. Long, ruched sleeves have 4" wrist zippers. 22" back center zipper. If only I had known Amal was looking for yellow. . .
Bust (armpit to armpit x2): 32" (the heavy draping at neckline would accommodate a larger cup size)
Sleeve Length: Outer: 27" Inseam: 17"
Nape to hemline: 59"
Hemline circumference: 54"
Condition: Excellent to Mint.
"...it's been revealed that Amal Clooney. . . was officially the best-dressed in the eyes of royal fans, as her Stella McCartney was the most searched for guest outfit following the royal wedding." ~ DailyMail.com
