Gorgeous pair of 1950's peep toe slingback leather heels by Palizzio, New York. The root beer brown leather has an iridescence to it that creates a lovely subtle sheen. They have a buckle detail at the peep toe opening that looks like three tiny pinecones with three amber colored pasted stones set in the center. They are stamped "bari last / hand lasted / custom made" on the insole at the heel. It has an adjustable all leather strap. The inside of the slingback strap is marked "8 M /6219B / K16033". They are in excellent condition - a few tiny faint marks here and there but due to the sheen they are hardly visible. The leather sole shows wear but has a lot of living left to do. The heels are beginning to show the nails so should be replaced in the near future, especially if you will be wearing them outside. Please check the measurements against a pair of shoes you already own to confirm fit; although marked and 8M they fit more like a 7 N.
