For those days when getting up for more ice is just asking too much, even for a Bond Girl. This mid-century modern mini ice bucket is the perfect size for your nightstand. It was Made in the USA by The Heller Co. of Brooklyn, NY and is marked as such on the handle, which has a lovely Art Deco pattern that is either embossed or finely tooled. The molded handle hooks onto two glass knobs on either side of the bucket; please note while the handle can bend about an inch either way, it does not fully fold down on either side due to how the handle is molded against the glass. The glass bucket is a fluted pattern, with contrasting textured panels in the design. The bottom has a cut glass sunburst pattern also incorporating the textured glass pattern. It's a great piece of mid-century modern barware, in excellent condition aside from a bit of tarnishing to the underside of the handle. The glass is clear and clean; any yellow cast in the photos is due to lighting and my lack of skill photographing vintage glassware.
The claw design ice tongs are hammered stainless steel with a very sterling silver look and feel to them. There is a bit of rusting on the inside of the tongs, but overall very good condition. There is no marking on the tongs, so I can't confirm they are original to the ice bucket. But they are the perfect size and color-match to the handle that they work.
