Here's another perfect little bag to run your summer errands or go out dancing...if we're ever allowed to do that again. Late 1970's / early 1980's shoulder bag by Charles Jourdan, Paris. in the softest calf skin leather, trimmed with matching snakeskin. The bag is a peachy tangerine color; the front flap is more a soft peach while the rest of the bag is the darker tangerine color. Double loop gold-tone chain strap with an oversized gold-tone "CJ" logo charm attached. The strap can be removed via a special loop where the charm is attached, or it can just be tucked inside if you want to use it as a clutch. The inside is lined with champagne colored matte silk. It has a single compartment with one zippered patch pocket on the back wall that's 6.5" x 4". Magnetic closure. This is also a great travel bag as it packs flat but can expand to hold quite a bit as needed. Overall the bag is in very good condition. I do attribute the color variation of the front flap to fading, as there is a bit of fade to the front of the base of the purse, too. There are a few scratches around the magnets, but otherwise in very good condition. I am taking the slight fading into account with pricing it - but it's still a great vintage Jourdan bag to add to your collection, and it will remain a collectible as it hails from the days when the Jourdan family still owned and designed for the company prior to it's sale in 2002.
