This Asian brocade jacket & wide leg pants suit is spectacular. The jacket is short sleeved with a frog mandarin collar and cheongsam design that buttons to the left of center with three additional rolled frog closures made of the same fabric as the jacket. The collar, sleeves and front are trimmed with black piping. The fabric is a rich shade of mandarin orange with a gold, brown & black oriental print. The light dances on the brocade design. There are belt loops for the jacket but the belt is missing. I've photographed it with a simple black satin ribbon in some of the photos. Depending on your height and length of torso, you could wear the jacket on it's own as a mini-dress.
The pants are a rich, heavy weight silken taffeta-like fabric - there are no fabric tags on the suit - I believe it may be rayon or a silk taffeta fabric. The pants are high waisted with a v-style waistline & elastic across the back.  Right side button and snap closure. The pant legs are very wide cut, with robins egg blue & matching orange piping around the hemline. They are very generously cut for comfort. Versatile enough to wear out on the town as a suit, or at home for a quiet dinner party for two. Would look fabulous with some platform heels for going out, or kitten heeled mules for staying in. The suit doesn't appear to ever have been worn; it's in excellent condition for it's age. I've had it hanging but it still has the original folds in the ensemble.
